Deppe Carlos Feu Alvim Capital Productivity in terms of aggregated values was calculated for the totality (generation, transmission, distribution) of the Electrical Sector from 1970 to 2007. Capital Productivity of some selected companies of the sector in Brazil was evaluated based on their Annual Reports published in the 2007 and 2008 years.

Deppe The Economy and Energy Organization has developed software for calculating Capital Productivity in enterprises, specially those of Brazilian the electrical sector based on the OCDE methodology. Capital Productivity is an index that reflects the efficiency of the enterprise and it is defined as the ratio between the Net Added Value and the Productive Capital Stock. The input data for this program are obtained from the published Annual Reports of the companies.
