Introduction

Energy and Economy are naturally linked in the relation of human society with nature. It is not exaggeration to link the recent phases of the world economy with the dominant energy source. On the other hand, the long range vision which demands planning seems to be an adequate counterpoint to the lightness of the fashionable circumstantial economic approach.
Economy and Energy intends to bring to the debate of topics related to its title a medium range vision anchored in historical behavior of variables but attentive to new global trends.
We will venture to present in each issue projections about the future behavior of some variables.
e&e will continue, with the inevitable adaptation to the ideas of the new group members, the work that our colleague Genserico has been doing in printing form in 26 issues.
